Promoting a conservation ethic in people of all ages is central to our mission of Conservation in Action. Audubon Canyon Ranch offers exploration and learning opportunities for nature enthusiasts of all ages on three of its preserves: the Martin Griffin Preserve, the Bouverie Preserve and the Modini Mayacamas Preserves.

Join us on the preserves to explore seasonal changes, observe nesting birds and migrating newts, learn about native peoples' use of the land, hike past wildflower meadows and through redwood groves. Visitation is limited on all three preserves in order to ensure that human impact is kept in balance with land and habitat preservation goals.

Guided Nature Walk

Oct 12 2019 - 10:00am to 12:30pm
Bouverie Preserve

**Due to the power outage, a Guided Nature Walk scheduled for Saturday, October 12 has been cancelled. We apologize for the inconvenience. Future walks are still scheduled to occur.**

Experience the beauty and rich natural history of this 535-acre preserve. Our guided nature walks are on Saturdays throughout fall and spring. Participants are divided into small groups and paired with a trained Bouverie volunteer to explore the mixed evergreen forest and flower-carpeted oak woodland. Guided Nature Walks begin at 10:00am and end at 12:30pm and are no more than 2.5 miles long.

Visitors of all ages are welcome. In order to attend a Guided Nature Walk or Twilight Hike, minors (those under the age of 18) MUST be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian.

$20 per person suggested donation. Contributions support the preservation, education and conservation science programs of Audubon Canyon Ranch. All donations are greatly appreciated!
