Promoting a conservation ethic in people of all ages is central to our mission of Conservation in Action. Audubon Canyon Ranch offers exploration and learning opportunities for nature enthusiasts of all ages on three of its preserves: the Martin Griffin Preserve, the Bouverie Preserve and the Modini Mayacamas Preserves.

Join us on the preserves to explore seasonal changes, observe nesting birds and migrating newts, learn about native peoples' use of the land, hike past wildflower meadows and through redwood groves. Visitation is limited on all three preserves in order to ensure that human impact is kept in balance with land and habitat preservation goals.

Martin Griffin Preserve Stewards

Audubon Canyon Ranch Event Calendar

Martin Griffin Preserve Stewards

Aug 31 2019 - 11:00am to 3:00pm
Martin Griffin Preserve

Participate in environmental stewardship with Audubon Canyon Ranch at Martin Griffin Preserve! We will be focusing on invasive plant management, so this is a great activity for those who enjoy weeding in the garden. Please bring a lunch, clothes you would garden in, sturdy shoes, and a water bottle. We will provide gloves, snacks, and tools. All experience levels are welcome!

Volunteer stewardship workdays run on select Saturdays from 11am-3pm, we will be meeting at the parking lot at Martin Griffin Preserve in Stinson Beach. Public transportation to the meeting site is available via the West Marin Stagecoach route 61. Anyone is welcome, please RSVP so we know to expect you.

To RSVP or learn more about our stewardship program and the Martin Griffin Preserve Stewards, contact ACR Resource Ecologist Henry Inman by email or by phone at 415.868.9244, ext. 102.
