Promoting a conservation ethic in people of all ages is central to our mission of Conservation in Action. Audubon Canyon Ranch offers exploration and learning opportunities for nature enthusiasts of all ages on three of its preserves: the Martin Griffin Preserve, the Bouverie Preserve and the Modini Mayacamas Preserves.

Join us on the preserves to explore seasonal changes, observe nesting birds and migrating newts, learn about native peoples' use of the land, hike past wildflower meadows and through redwood groves. Visitation is limited on all three preserves in order to ensure that human impact is kept in balance with land and habitat preservation goals.

Forest Bathing and Nature Mindfulness
Join us for a two-hour guided forest bathing session with certified forest bathing instructor Joey (Iris) Heusler. Sessions begin at 11am and 2pm. Stay for other mindfulness activities and crafts for adults and  children throughout the day. No rsvp necessary.

As every Saturday, we’ll have ample opportunity for nature exploration! Join our volunteer Nature Guides and grab a pair of binoculars or peer in the scopes to watch osprey dive for fish and eagles disrupt the waterbirds over the Bolinas Lagoon. Grab a net and scoop a newt at our freshwater ponds. Come out to our kids’ tables to do activities related to the sights, sounds, and smells of June at Martin Griffin Preserve! No reservation necessary -- please join us!
